News from Inhorgenta Munich 2022.

We present you the first information from the Inhorgenta Munich 2022 watch fair from POINTtec.

POINTtec is the manufacturer of the watch brands Bauhaus , Iron Annie and Zeppelin and the watches are produced at the iconic Ruhla factory in Thuringia.

In summing up the show overall, POINTtec presented some interesting new products and innovations including new displays and new models of watches with automatic movements Citizen/Miyota . Overall, the new products were very well received by trade show visitors and media representatives - especially considering the price of the watches. POINTtec has achieved its reputation as a leading manufacturer of automatic watches "Made in Germany " in the basic price category.

The watch models with the brand new automatic movement Citizen/Miyota 9075 with GMT function met with the greatest interest. The sensation was caused not only by the recommended price of 499 €, but also by the control of the watch, which is equipped with a smooth hour hand and is operated in principle in exactly the same way as the Rolex GMT Maste r. Officially, the new calibre is included in the well-known line of movements MIYOTA 9000 "Premium Automatic", but we believe that the traditional Japanese manufacturer has surpassed itself and is introducing a new standard of functionality and quality of its automatic calibres.

In addition to the beautifully arranged display cases, the prominently displayed Eurofighter watch decoration certainly contributed to the large attendance. In addition to a large model of the eponymous aircraft, visitors were equipped with virtual reality goggles and were able to sit in the cockpit and experience what it is like to fly a Eurofighter . A former fighter pilot of the German Air Force was also present at the POINTtec stand to answer people's questions about aviation.
