The Navy SEALs are the best of the best, superbly trained and ready for anything. In 1994, Luminox developed the watch with the SEALs, listening to their needs and working with them to create the perfect watch. The result was the Navy SEAL 3001, the only watch officially licensed by the U.S. Navy and created with their authorization and approval. Today, this watch is worn by many Navy SEALs on operations around the world. Luminox re-introduces the watch that started it all, with the 3001 EVO series.

In the beginning, it was a simple but challenging task to accomplish - Navy SEALs needed a watch that could go anywhere and do anything they do without any problems. The original 3001 series did exactly that - it was waterproof to 200 meters, featured Luminox Light technology so it was always visible no matter what conditions the SEALs found themselves in, and was tough as nails, just like the SEALs. The 3001 EVO series takes all of the attributes of the original model and takes them even further, using the best of today's technology. While retaining the size of this highly successful watch (43 mm) and the distinctively narrow dial opening, this collection now features a screw-down caseback and screw-down crown, the standards of today's waterproof Luminox watches. In addition, the 3001 EVO series watches have textured dials and modernized fonts that bring them fully into the 21st century.

Preserving originality

The Navy SEAL 3001 EVO Series watches honor the past while remaining firmly rooted in the future. Tougher than ever and ready for anything, they perfectly represent the Navy SEALs. The 3001 EVO is water-resistant to 200 meters and is available in three different options: Navy Blue, Old Radium and Black Out. The watch is powered by a sophisticated and extremely precise Swiss Made quartz movement, and its textured dial features a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The shaped hands feature Luminox Light Technology, including a seconds hand that is tipped with a red tip for better visibility. Luminescent tubes are on each of the hour markers and at 12 o'clock on the unidirectional rotating dial, so you can always see this watch no matter what the conditions. The Black Out version highlights the strengths of the Luminox Light Technology, and the Navy Blue colour is bright and modern, while reminiscent of the blue dresses worn for formal ceremonies. The Old Radium colour variant is a nostalgic tribute to the time when all luminous watches were realised using Radium, a material with a unique glow that was phased out of watchmaking in 1968. In addition, Luminox has partnered with the Navy SEAL Foundation to honour and give back to the memory of these noble heroes.
