History of the Zeppelin brand
The history of Zeppelin begins near Munich, the capital of Bavaria, in the picturesque village of Ismaning. It is here, on the banks of the Isar River surrounded by lush meadows, that the company was founded by Wilhelm Birk in 1987. It is here that the quality watches that have been made in Germany for more than a quarter of a century are manufactured. With an annual production of 150,000 watches, the Zeppelin brand is one of the most important watch manufacturers in Europe and the largest watch manufacturer in Germany. The trademarks ZEPPELIN, BAUHAUS, RUHLA stand for pioneering spirit and innovation, traditional craftsmanship, high quality and durability. All watches are manufactured by experienced watchmakers in Germany and represent true MADE IN GERMANY quality. All watches are assembled by experienced watchmakers in Germany in Ruhla's own manufacturing plant in Thuringia. This factory has been manufacturing watches since 1892, has a long history in mechanical watchmaking and is housed in the historic BAUHAUS building.
Zeppelin watches
The days of these aeronautical giants are over, but they are certainly not forgotten. In order to remember this important era in a slightly different way, POINTtec has decided to revive the famous name and legacy of Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin. Each piece of watch made by the Zeppelin brand has its own model number, which is engraved on the back of the watch, making each watch highly individual. Zeppelin is part of the POINTtec group, which produces ZEPPELIN, BAUHAUS, RUHLA watches. Zeppelin watches are well made and have high quality workmanship. The watches are fitted with Swiss and Japanese movements. Almost all Zeppelin models have some connection to the Zeppelin airships designed by Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin. The airships made historic flights from Germany in the early 20th century. Model lines such as the Captain's Line, Transatlantic and Count Zeppelin recall the glory days of exceptional Zeppelin airship flights.
100 Year Zeppelin

Its dials are easy to read, harmoniously balanced and emphasize the precision of its construction. All models are equipped with high-quality mechanical and quartz movements.
Glashuette Observatory
High-quality watches bearing the Glashütte Observatory chronometer certificate. During 15 days of rigorous testing, the average daily time difference of the chronometer must be between 2-5 seconds. As a result, you are guaranteed world-class watch accuracy. The Glashütte Observatory has served German watchmakers since 1910. It was equipped with one of the most accurate clocks - a marine chronometer and a precision pendulum clock. Since 2006 it has been a "chronometer observatory". It issues certificates under the auspices of DIN standards and government supervision.
