The history of the Swiss company Victorinox dates back to 1884 , when the experienced knifemaker and entrepreneur Karl Elsener opened a knifemaking business in the town of Ibach-Schwyz in central Switzerland. This started the 125-year history of the now world-famous and respected Victorinox brand (often misused as Victorynox). A fundamental characteristic of Victorinox products is their high precision in terms of construction. Furthermore, the knives are highly durable and last but not least, they are original and practical. In addition to multifunctional knives, Victorinox now also produces fixed blade knives. This is our story. But the Victorinox knife didn't become a legend just because of him.
