The Zeppelin 7680-1 watch from the 100 Jahre Zeppelin collection represents a perfect fusion of traditional German watchmaking craftsmanship and aviation-inspired aesthetics rooted in the legacy of legendary airships. This model pays tribute to Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, a pioneer of aviation whose technical innovations in the early 20th century transformed the world of transport. The watch embodies a spirit of adventure, elegance, and precision that defined the airship era.
The design of the 7680-1 immediately impresses with its elegant silver dial, delicate markers, and hands reminiscent of cockpit instruments in historic aircraft. The stainless steel case, with a diameter of 42 mm and a height of 13 mm, is not only visually striking but also practical – it fits comfortably on wrists with a circumference of 16 to 21 cm. Its stylish appearance is enhanced by a brown leather strap 22 mm wide, offering comfortable wear and a timeless look.
At its heart is a Swiss quartz movement Ronda 5130.D, renowned for its reliability and accuracy, with a minimal deviation of ±10 to 20 seconds per month. Its functions include an alarm, chronograph, tachymeter, and telemeter, making it not only a stylish accessory but also a fully equipped timekeeping tool for everyday use. The mineral crystal protects the dial from scratches, while water resistance up to 5 ATM allows for wearing during light water activities like hand washing or rain.
The Zeppelin 7680-1 is ideal for men seeking a watch that combines unique style, technical excellence, and historical heritage. It is more than just a timepiece – it is a statement of personality, blending tradition with modern functionality and timeless design. If you're looking for a dependable everyday companion that also makes a bold impression, the Zeppelin 7680-1 is the perfect choice.

History of the Zeppelin brand
The history of Zeppelin begins near Munich, the capital of Bavaria, in the picturesque village of Ismaning. It is here, on the banks of the Isar River surrounded by lush meadows, that the company was founded by Wilhelm Birk in 1987. It is here that the quality watches that have been made in Germany for more than a quarter of a century are manufactured. With an annual production of 150,000 watches, the Zeppelin brand is one of the most important watch manufacturers in Europe and the largest watch manufacturer in Germany. The trademarks ZEPPELIN, BAUHAUS, RUHLA stand for pioneering spirit and innovation, traditional craftsmanship, high quality and durability. All watches are manufactured by experienced watchmakers in Germany and represent true MADE IN GERMANY quality. All watches are assembled by experienced watchmakers in Germany in Ruhla's own manufacturing plant in Thuringia. This factory has been manufacturing watches since 1892, has a long history in mechanical watchmaking and is housed in the historic BAUHAUS building.
Zeppelin watches
The days of these aeronautical giants are over, but they are certainly not forgotten. In order to remember this important era in a slightly different way, POINTtec has decided to revive the famous name and legacy of Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin. Each piece of watch made by the Zeppelin brand has its own model number, which is engraved on the back of the watch, making each watch highly individual. Zeppelin is part of the POINTtec group, which produces ZEPPELIN, BAUHAUS, RUHLA watches. Zeppelin watches are well made and have high quality workmanship. The watches are fitted with Swiss and Japanese movements. Almost all Zeppelin models have some connection to the Zeppelin airships designed by Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin. The airships made historic flights from Germany in the early 20th century. Model lines such as the Captain's Line, Transatlantic and Count Zeppelin recall the glory days of exceptional Zeppelin airship flights.
