This aircraft is a symbol of courage and resilience, delivered to the 78th Fighter Group at Duxford, England in April 1945, towards the end of World War II. The aircraft was assigned to Lieutenant Hubert "Bill" Davis and was immediately named after his favorite racehorse. Davis achieved remarkable feats and played a key role in the famous raid on Hitler's Eagle's Nest.
