Glasbach Cup series
On the 5.5 kilometre long main road between Bad Liebenstein and Glasbachstein in the Thuringian Forest, the thrilling Glasbach hill climb races have been held since 1974. This section of the L1027 is the longest hillclimb circuit in Germany and one of the most modern hillclimb circuits in Europe. German and European races are regularly held here, right on the doorstep of the Ruhla.
The Chronograph Ruhla Glasbach Cup is dedicated to motorsport in the region and this exceptional track.

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the founding of Uhrenwerke Ruhla in the Thuringian watchmaking town of the same name, the Ruhla watch brand is now being relaunched - produced by Uhrenwerke Ruhla GmbH, the successor company of the once huge industrial complex, which is housed in the last remaining building. The listed Bauhaus architecture houses not only the watch assembly plant but also the Ruhla Watch Museum, which brings the 160-year history of the complex to life.
