ZEPPELIN Eurofighter automatic watches are equipped with SELITA SW500 automatic movement, which has proven itself millions of times over its long lifetime. The dials on the dial have functions specific to the Eurofighter series. The seconds counter on one side shows the 8 seconds that the Eurofighter accelerates on the runway until it takes off. On the other side, the minute counter is colour coded as 2.5 minutes - this is how fast the Eurofighter is at its optimum flight altitude of FL350 (flight level 35,000 ft ≈ 10,000 m) and has already reached Mach 1.5. Time is everything when every second decides whether to be or not to be! The watch strap has a double extension clasp and can also be strapped over the pilot's suit in two easy steps while the pilot sprints to his aircraft.
The watch itself is made of sturdy stainless steel with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch has a glass-bottomed caseback through which the SELITA SW500 movement can be viewed. The chronograph start/stop button is marked in red, and the fluted crown is screw-down, making it particularly robust. In addition to the chronograph function, the unidirectionally rotating lunette can be monitored to keep track of a second independent time measurement. The beige, fully fluorescent luminous coating ensures optimum legibility at night. In addition to the Eurofighter Typhoon logo, the dial also features the aircraft that gives it its name.

History of the Zeppelin brand
The history of Zeppelin begins near Munich, the capital of Bavaria, in the picturesque village of Ismaning. It is here, on the banks of the Isar River surrounded by lush meadows, that the company was founded by Wilhelm Birk in 1987. All watches are manufactured by experienced watchmakers in Germany and represent true MADE IN GERMANY quality. All watches are assembled by experienced watchmakers in Germany in Ruhla's own manufacturing plant in Thuringia. This factory has been manufacturing watches since 1892, has a long history in mechanical watchmaking and is housed in the historic BAUHAUS building.
