Luminox is the official watch partner of American aerospace engineering giant Lockheed Martin. Through this partnership, Luminox takes inspiration from one of the most revolutionary aircraft of its time designed by Lockheed: the infamous CONSTELLATION® . The aircraft, popularly nicknamed the Connie, changed the game for civil and military aviation, setting time records including the fastest flight from Burbank, California to Washington, D.C. in 1944 in less than 7 hours at an average speed of 331 miles per hour (approximately 533 km/h). This flight was flown by none other than TWA owner Howard Hughes, who was instrumental in bringing the aircraft to market. The combination of high performance and design has made this aircraft a legend in the industry and is now the inspiration for the latest addition to Luminox's Air Series lineup.

The CONSTELLATION® Automatic 9600 is available in 4 different versions, all with a 42 mm steel case and a sleek 3D caseback. The range of dial colours includes black with beige indicators, grey with beige indicators or beige with black. The black dial option has a choice of a strap or steel bracelet. The dial features an illustration of the globe and the CONSTELLATION® aircraft that puts this watch into flight. In the tradition of classic pilot's watches, a triangle with two dots is placed at 12 o'clock, allowing for clear time and quick orientation. The Swiss-made automatic movement ensures accurate timekeeping with a date display at 3 o'clock with a 38-hour power reserve at full winding. The watch is complemented by a black bi-rotating lunette and screw-down crown with a water resistance of 100 meters. Like all other Luminox watches, the watch is equipped with Luminox Light technology, which ensures the watch is visible in any lighting conditions for up to 25 years.
