The Icelandic Search and Rescue Organisation ICE SAR and Luminox debut a new watch equipped with a heart rate monitor.

In addition to a highly trained team of rescuers who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ICE-SAR is a leader in safety training and education. Anyone visiting this North Atlantic island can rely on ICE-SAR should their adventure go awry. In collaboration with ICE-SAR, Luminox is launching the new ICE-SAR Arctic 1050 Series with a 46 mm case and a black CARBONOX™ bezel and clasp. The watch is available in a variety of colours, with red and orange playfully incorporated into the blue and black dial and ring. The watch is complemented by a tone-on-tone rubber strap. The new 1050 Arctic watch is equipped with a pulse oximeter; the additional seconds hand and indices on the dial ring make it possible to quickly take your own or a patient's pulse, which is essential for first responders. Like every Luminox watch, it is equipped with Luminox Light Technology, which ensures that the watch will be visible in any lighting conditions for up to 25 years.
