The new Certina DS Action collection has been designed with inspiration from the fascinating and colourful world hidden beneath the sea.

Introducing eight new models from the DS Action marine range, expanding the Certina range. They were inspired by the fascinating and diverse world beneath the sea.

Certina DS watches have been synonymous with maximum durability for more than sixty years. The Swiss watch brand is now continuing the tradition from 1959 and introducing eight new variants. Customers can choose from two case sizes (34.5mm and 40mm) and a colour palette that reflects the beauty of coral reefs.

All new models in the DS collection meet strict double security standards that guarantee exceptional water resistance - with this watch you can dive to a depth of 300 metres without worry. Legibility in the dark is ensured by the high-end Superluminova coating on the hands and indexes.

Six models have cases made of high-quality 316L steel, some with a durable PVD finish. The exceptions are the two versions with a light blue-green, shimmering dial - the smaller (34.5 mm, mother-of-pearl: C048.210.44.131.00) and the larger (40 mm: C048.410.44.351.00) - which have a titanium case and aluminium bezel. These variants are the most luxurious in the entire collection.

Colour harmony on the wrist The colour harmony of the bezels and dials is characteristic of the entire range, but is most striking on the ladies' model with an apricot pearl dial (C048.210.11.381.00; 470 euros). The two models with dark blue dials are decorated with an elegant gold PVD stripe (ladies': C048.210.22.131.00, men's: C048.410.22.041.00).

The DS Action 34.5 mm model (C048.210.11.121.00) captures the unique colour transformations of the deep sea. For men, there are also sporty versions with green (C048.410.11.091.00) or black dials (C048.410.11.051.00).

The larger models are powered by the Swiss quartz movement F06.412, the smaller ones by the calibre F05.412. Both movements with Precidrive technology are equipped with a battery end-of-life indicator - if the seconds hand moves after four seconds, it's time to change the battery.
